"Chaerin Im is an Amsterdam-based South Korean pianist and winner of the Keep An Eye Music Award 2024. Nowadays, she is an essential part of the European jazz scene and has worked with musicians including Pablo Held, Jasper Høiby, Ben van Gelder, Reinier Baas, and Sun-Mi Hong. In her quartet, she plays freshly written material with Siebren Smink on guitar, Matteo Mazzù on electric bass, and Ludvig Søndergaard on drums. They blend and layer sounds inspired by everything they like from indie pop and free-improv to electronic music."
